We started the year with Book Bites. I would read a few pages of a book (usually the first chapter) and then I would raffle it off to a lucky winner. One month, we tasted TWO chapter books, and kids voted on which book they would read first. From that day forward our monthly Book Bites became Book Bite Battle Raffles - two books, two lucky winners! 🥳🥳
This is a fun way to introduce kids to new books. Reading only part of the story hooks them into wanting more! This also opens up great discussions about the importance of a good hook in writing. #winwin
