Can you type a paragraph in 20 minutes or less? Yep! Just
like anything in life, writing takes practice. Each time you write, you become
a stronger and more confident writer!
In February, we practiced writing a complete paragraph. 🍔 Now we will use that same strategy to answer questions using information from one or more sources.
This week, we learned about making a claim and proving it with evidence. Always HULK UP your answer, by citing the source: book, passage, video, graphic feature, or text. It's wise to add information from the source because it proves your claim. You can even copy and paste words directly from the text, as long as you put them in "quotation marks" and always tell the reader where the information came from!
