Winter Break is just around the corner! Things to do before 2011: enjoy the decorations around town, eat a candy cane, read in bed, sip some cocoa and hug your LC!

I learned how to figure out story problems in math.
This month i learned topographic Maps in science.
I learned how to break apart big numbers so they are easier to solve in Math.
i am geting better at writing and spelling.
I learned about Young Ben Franklin in Literature. It was really cool learning about him.
I learned how to multiply six's and I learned about some famous artists.

I learned division
I learned about the digestive system and the different parts of it and what they are called and what they do.
I learned about the parts of the digestive system and their names and their jobs.
I learned primary and sencondary colors!
I learned that animals are covered in different things. Feathers, fur, shells, scales and skin!
In the Arctic Tundra there are no trees.
In math I am learning about areas of circles, triangles, and squares.

In the Polar and Temperate Zones lichens grow. They are different colors.
I learned about Pall Rever and his midnight ride in history

I learned about impressionist in art, I also learned about measurements in math
I learned how to add backwards for example 6=3+3. And I learned about gases, egypt and their gods and I'm learning how to spell new words.
The most interesting thing I learned in December was in History about mummies. I thought it was neat how they wrapped them and put them in tombs. They buried the mummies with jewels and food. Robbers stole King Kofu.
This week I learned how to add and subtract decimals. It was a wonderful experience and it was fun too. :)
I learned how to multiply and divide fractions and mixed numbers.
In my Art i learned about native people of the plains.
plains indians of north America made
clothing and useful items out of animal hide and
then decorated their work with porcupine quills. When European traders
came west with shiny glass beads, the indians added bold,
colorful designs to their work.
I am learning about how you hear and the different parts of the ear. There is even something called a hammer in your ear drum.
In science I learned about the different seasons and in math I working on adding.
In science I am learning about Tropical Rain Forrests and in math I learned how to subtract 2 digit numbers and am starting to learn about fractions.
