Math Notebook Samples

Every week, we add to our math notebooks. By the end of the year, we will have a nifty catalog of information relating to the 5th grade Common Core Math Standards.

Notebook pages contain the concept number, an "I Can" statement which tells what we will learn in the lesson, important vocabulary words, samples, and practice problems. Sometimes there are pages to print and glue into the notebook. Other times, we add our own information during the lesson.

Here is an example of Makenna R's notebook. Her work is detailed and very neat.

This week's lesson has printable notebook pages and written information. Notebook pages were k-mailed earlier today. Here are samples for you to use. Click on the images below to enlarge them. Make sure your notebook is ready to go before tomorrow!

Please do not use your math notebook as a seat.

Only a bratty cat would find that acceptable.

See you in math class!
